
Regenerate Africa hosts key stakeholders for a Climate Change and Health strategic meeting focused on financing Uganda’s Health National Adaptation Plan (HNAP). The 5th meeting of the Climate and Health Sub-Committee brings together representatives from the Ministry of Health – Uganda , Ministry of Water and Environment, Directorate of Water Resources Management, Uganda, MGLSD and civil society organizations to advance resource mobilization efforts. Climate change is not just an environmental issue it’s a health crisis affecting communities through vector-borne diseases, heat-related illnesses, and other climate-sensitive conditions. Today’s session at our Luwafu offices will finalize the M&E framework, resource mobilization strategies, and prepare engagement with the Ministry of Finance to secure dedicated climate-health funding for implementing Uganda’s HNAP.
