We are excited to announce that Regenerate Africa and Jeunes Volontaires pour l’Environnement JVE Niger have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize a new partnership aimed at strengthening cross-regional collaboration between East and West Africa in the areas of climate action, gender equality, and health resilience.
This milestone marks the beginning of a transformative journey grounded in shared values, a common vision, and a joint commitment to building a more #sustainable and #inclusive future for Africa.

Under the MOU, Regenerate Africa and JVE will work together to:

Promote the integration of gender, health, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (#SRHR) in climate action at community, national, and regional levels.

Conduct interdisciplinary #research that informs evidence-based policy and practice on the climate-health-gender nexus.

Co-create and implement #community-driven initiatives that strengthen local resilience and empower women, youth, and vulnerable populations. Advocate for policy change that reflects the realities of climate-affected communities and ensures inclusive financing for health and gender-responsive climate solutions.

Mobilize #financial and #technical resources through joint fundraising and strategic partnerships to scale regenerative impact across borders.

With this partnership, we aim to amplify our collective voice and unlock innovative pathways for Africa’s just transition to a regenerative economy one that restores our natural ecosystems, protects vulnerable populations, and ensures that no one is left behind in the face of climate change.

Together, we regenerate.
