She is a reproductive health specialist and public health professional with expertise at the intersection of gender, health, and climate change. With nearly a decade of experience in civil society engagement, she has led integrated grassroots initiatives and evidence-based policy advocacy at national, regional, and global levels, including UNFCCC COP processes. A trained green project manager with a Master’s in Public Health, Niona brings strong strategic leadership in climate resilience, health systems strengthening, and women’s empowerment to her expanded role coordinating Regenerate Africa’s multi-thematic programs.
