Rajab Kakaire is an ethnobotanist and dedicated conservationist with nearly a decade of experience in ecological restoration and ecosystem health recovery across Uganda’s diverse landscapes and ecosystems. Currently working with Regenerate Africa on the Restore Kalanamu initiative, he is contributing to the rehabilitation of over 280 acres in Kalanamu. This ambitious project aims to restore ecological integrity while transforming the site into a flagship nature wellness resort and a leading center for ecological research in Uganda.
