Executive Director of Africa 2000 Network (A2N) Uganda
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Management from Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi, a Master’s of Science in Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics from University of Nairobi as well as a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from Makerere University. He has also attended trainings in Corporate Governance and gender relations.
He has over 23 years of working experience in community development work in agricultural related fields including food and nutrition security and income security. He has been A2N’s Executive director since January 2014. He previously worked as Programmes Development Manager with Send A Cow Uganda for 7 years, as livestock development Officer with Send a cow for 3 years, as a GIS manager at the Coordinating Office for Control of Trypanosomiasis in Uganda (COCTU) for 1 year, as livestock development officer for SOCADIDO for 5 years, and as teaching assistant in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Makerere University for 1 year.
He has served as chair and later treasurer for Cocoa Tree Association to date and as Board Chairperson for Mmengo Building Foundation Coop Society from 2019 to date.
Christopher represents A2N on the PROLINNOVA National Steering Committee and also represents CSOs on the National Steering Committee of the Ecological Organic Agriculture Initiative. He is the current Country Board for PELUM Uganda
