Exciting Partnership Announcement: Regenerate Africa and DCarbon Join Forces to Drive Sustainable Development in Africa!
Regenerate Africa is thrilled to unveil our latest partnership with DCarbon Global! This is with the overall objective of contributing to the transition of Uganda and the rest of East Africa into a sustainable and regenerative economy for profit, people, climate and planet.
Among it’s many goals, this partnership aims to support the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) and Sustainability principles, concepts and practices in policy and legal frameworks, development programs, and business operations for private enterprise/businesses, governments, and non-governmental organizations.
It will also build the professional capacity of the public, private and corporate sectors in Sustainability, ESG reporting, GHG emissions, Carbon footprint, and Lifecycle Assessment in their investments and businesses. Through this partnership, Regenerate Africa and DCarbon will develop mechanisms for sustainability assessments, reporting, verification and credibility in the application and performance of ESG standards.
In addition to all this, this partnership will facilitate carbon trading opportunities and strategies for creating a sustainable and thriving carbon market in the region, as well as facilitate technical, policy, and financial support for just and affordable energy transitions in East Africa.
Our partnership with DCarbon will enable us to work closely with private as well as governmental sectors, working towards joint goals that emphasize and prioritize environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
This partnership will also include collaboration on COP 28, the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and will also extend to supporting countries in fulfilling their nationally determined contributions.
DCarbon and Regenerate Africa will, through great partnership, will collect resources, expertise and knowledge, all of which will aid in a more sustainable and regenerative economy for Africa.
