Meet Naiga Doreen, a passionate advocate and Programme Officer for Youth, Health, and Climate at Regenerate Africa. With a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University, Doreen brings extensive experience in youth-focused initiatives, particularly in addressing youth-led health, SRH, and climate action.
As a member of the European Union Youth Sounding Board of Uganda and an African Union Bingwa under the auspices Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention , Doreen amplifies youth voices on crucial issues to international platforms. Her role in the Youth Steering Committee for Y-ACT by Amref Health Africa underscores her commitment to shaping strategic directions and championing new youth-driven initiatives.
In her role, Doreen spearheads the collaborative design and implementation of programs at the nexus of climate, health, and FP/SRH. She empowers young people to address the interlinkages of these issues and elevate their voices for a regenerative future. With her dedication to fostering meaningful dialogues and crafting outcome documents, Doreen ensures that the priorities of young people are intricately woven into the work of Regenerate Africa.
