Climate change is already having significant impacts on human health. This factsheet examines how rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and changing disease patterns are putting pressure on health systems and worsening health outcomes globally. It discusses the importance of building climate-resilient healthcare systems and addressing the mental health effects of climate-related stresses such as climate anxiety, especially in vulnerable communities.
