Welcome to the ESG, Business, and Sustainability Department at Regenerate Africa, where we pave the way for transformative environmental and social impact. We recognize the interconnectedness of climate change, biodiversity loss, and ecosystem degradation. We address these challenges through nature-based solutions and innovative, locally appropriate economic actions, value chains, investments and enterprises that address challenges such as climate change and provide human well-being and biodiversity benefits by protecting, sustainably managing and restoring ecosystems.

Our core team comprises five certified sustainable/green project managers, each with credentials from Green Project Management (GPM), ensuring excellence in every initiative we undertake. These are influential in delivering our short courses like Sustainable Project Management; Environment, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) & Sustainability; Gender, Health & Environment, and Regenerative Agriculture; Agroecology. Our curated courses reflect our commitment to fostering knowledge and expertise. These programs empower individuals with the skills to navigate the complex intersections of business, sustainability, and societal well-being.

Regenerate Africa thrives on strategic partnerships, collaborating with industry leaders such as CEO Summit Uganda, DCarbon Global, Rapid Advisory, Green Project Management, and networks like Africa Circular Economy Network, and Environment & Natural Resources (ENR-CSO) Network. Regenerate Africa proudly hosts the CEO Summit Sustainability Centre in collaboration with the CEO Summit Uganda. This centre serves as a hub for education, advice, research, and certifications on ESG and Sustainability best practices. At our eco-friendly facilities, such as the office facilities at Konge Hill, the recreational facilities at Great Outdoors Kalanamu, and Nalumuli Bay Ecosystem in Buikwe District, we provide a framework for private sector investments to offset carbon footprints, contributing significantly to achieving net zero targets.

We are dedicated to building human capacities across Uganda’s private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations and the broader East African region. Our efforts focus on aligning business practices and financing flows with sustainable financing principles, enhancing transparency, and strengthening governance for the benefit of business, people, nature, and the climate. Our commitment extends to supporting companies, businesses, and organizations in realizing the full potential of their sustainability efforts. Through capacity building for employees, executives, and boards, we establish operating models that deliver on Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) goals. We provide infrastructure for tracking and reporting progress, integrating ESG strategies, and designing initiatives with a focus on business cases and implementation considerations.
