Juliet Katusiime Zizinga; Is an environmental management professional with over 10 years of work experience in non-profit Organisations. So far, she has designed, supervised, and evaluated the execution of projects and programs targeting the vulnerable in hard to reach or stay, food-energy-water-land insecure areas. Most of the work particularly aims at ensuring environmental sustainability, social-ecological systems resilience to climate and other social and natural shocks, advocating for balanced, multi-level actions and inclusive policies, impact creation, integrated approaches, and alleviating insecurities related to land, minerals, food, energy, water.
Alongside, she has carried out and published action and academic research related in peer-reviewed journals and other accessible online platforms. She is keen on gender empowerment, anti-discrimination, child protection and socio-eco equity.
Juliet is a PhD in Geographical Sciences from Freie Universität Berlin in Germany. She possesses a Masters in Integrated Watershed Management and Degree in Environmental Management Makerere University. She also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Integrated and Adaptive Water Resources Planning, Management and Governance from McGill University.
