Robinah is a development professional with over 17 years of progressive work in the design and implementation of a wide array of good governance and civil society strengthening programs here in Uganda. Having previously worked with International Alert-a peacebui
She has demonstrable technical and administrative success in program management including partner onboarding, appraisal of narrative and financial accountability reports; procurement and budget management; monitoring of projects to assess progress against plans; corporate governance; overseeing timely follow-up to audit recommendations; resource mobilization, institutional strengthening as well as overall management of external relationships with key stakeholders.
In her current role as Director of Business, Nature, and Sustainability, at Regenerate Africa, she is providing strategic and technical leadership in the development and promotion of Green Businesses, as well as in environmental social, and corporate governance (ESG) and sustainability of different ecosystems and institutions. A lot of her technical support will be with the private sector and government departments and agencies.
Robinah holds a Master’s in International Peace Studies from the UN University for Peace in San José, Costa Rica, Executive Post Graduate Diplomas in Sustainable Development; Natural Resources Management; Project Planning and Management, and several trainings in Human Rights, Problem Driven Interactive Adaptation (PDIA), Gender and Reproductive Health Rights and Business and Human Rights among many others.
She is also a Board Member at Advocates for Natural Resources and Development (ANARDE) and Rwenzori Environmental and Gender Equity Organization (REGEO).
